This is official notification that Marshall County Special Services Cooperative is seeking applications for an opening in the following position for the 2022-2023 school year.

 

 Special Education Teacher -USD #498(Waterville)

 

Requirements:  Applicants must currently hold or will hold by August 2022, a Kansas license with the appropriate endorsement.  This includes provisional license applicants.  This position requires a person who has good communication skills and can work effectively with staff, students, and parents.  Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:  eligibility evaluations, report writing, consulting with teachers, building administrators, and parents; maintaining adequate records as required, the provision of services in the general and special education settings, and collecting data for decision-making.  We will consider hiring a certified teacher who would be willing to work on getting their Special Education Certification.

 

Salary is determined by educational level and years of experience. We reimburse $150.00 per approved college hour completed for classess towards teacher's first master's degree during employment with the District. We offer Health, Dental, and Vision coverage.  Our Cooperative pays a stipend for certified Special Education teachers.
